Members of UF’s NPHC that carried out a unity step on the university’s Homecoming Soulfest event. Soulfest serves as a multicultural extravaganza focused on talent exploration and the celebration of culture on UF’s campus throughout homecoming. Since our addition to the University of Florida campus on April 21, 1990 we now have been supporting and giving back to the campus community and greater Gainesville Community. We encourage our members to get involved in the campus and Gainesville community and become leaders in enacting change and progress for underprivileged communities.
Our sisterhood focuses on providing assistance and encouragement to all sisters as they accomplish their academic and profession targets. Sigma Beta Rho is the premier national multicultural fraternity in the United States. Founded in 1996 on the rules of obligation to society, dedication to brotherhood, and the remembrance of cultural consciousness, Sigma Beta Rho has since grown to share its objectives with over 2,500 males on over 45 college campuses.
Sigma Beta Rho fosters the belief that individuals have a responsibility to the society to which they belong. It is one’s obligation as a brother to offer back to one’s family, neighborhood, and fraternity that which a person has to supply to the best of service. This business was created to provide assist to the multicultural sororities throughout the nation in recruitment, sisterhood, popularity, fundraising, and philanthropy.
Sigma Sigma Rho encourages Sisters to always remember the paths their ancestors have paved for them.
